How to apply?

• Applications for the Master’s program must be submitted to the Admissions Office
  of ETH. Use of the online application portal is mandatory.
• In the personal statement required in step 9 of the application procedure you explain on 1 to 2 pages why you have chosen the particular program of studies, and ETH as the institution for your Master's studies, and which research area at our Department is particularly attractive to you.
• The language of instruction in this program is English. Please check the relevant website of the Admission Office for language requirements according to directives by the Rector.
  
• When the formal requirements are fulfilled the application is examined by a departmental admission committee which proposes to the Head of the Department acceptance or rejection of the application.
• This committee also determines any individual admission requirements such as a request to collect additional credits in particular areas.

Note: The application can be submitted during the bachelor studies. However, start of MSc program is possible only after graduation.
