Scholarship Fund of the Swiss Chemical Industry (SSCI)
The Scholarship Fund of the Swiss Chemical Industry (SSCI) is a joint initiative of ETH Zurich and the four companies Cilag AG, Clariant International AG, Givaudan Schweiz Ag and Lonza AG.
The aim of this Scholarship Fund is to support outstanding PhD-students in the field of chemistry and applied biosciences during their doctoral studies and thus reverse the current deficit of qualified chemists in industry. As well, the Fund will cultivate an early and regular exchange between the students, the involved companies and ETH Zurich in the chemical sciences.
