Prof. Copéret receives the Wheland Award 2017/2018 from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Chicago. The award is given biannually to a scientist who has made outstanding contributions to chemistry.

To honor the memory of George Willard Wheland, a member of the Department of Chemistry of The University of Chicago from 1937 to 1972, his former friends and colleagues created an award to be presented biannually to a scientist who has made outstanding contributions to chemistry. Prof. Copéret receives the Wheland Award for 2017/2018 giving the Wheland Award Lecture at the University of Chicago.
