Organization

The Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry is the smallest unit in the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences of ETH Zurich. On the other hand, it has one of the largest student groups to teach. Many students of the science subjects take theoretical and practical courses in the Laboratory during their basic studies. To learn more about our teaching activities, follow the "Studies" link.
The Laboratory is also an active research site in homogeneous catalysis, inorganic trace analysis, solid state chemistry, main group element chemistry and bioinorganic chemistry.
