Ambizione Fellowship for Dr. Claire Stanley

Dr. Claire Stanley from the group of Prof. Andrew deMello, has been awarded a prestigious Ambizione Grant from the SNSF. Her fellowship, entitled "Microbiome-on-a-Chip: New frontiers in Plant-Microbiota Research", will be held at Agroscope in Zurich.
Dr. Stanley, currently a post doc in the group of Prof. deMello, will lead a project that aims to enhance our understanding of interactions in the plant root microbiome, by using microfluidic technology to zoom into the microscale, and has the potential to aid the identification of new bioinoculants used in agronomic practices to optimise crop growth. Her fellowship, entitled "Microbiome-on-a-Chip: New frontiers in Plant-Microbiota Research", will be held at external pageAgroscope in Zurich.
